Strategic Business Leadership
• Act as an HR business partner to the Senior Management Team through participation in establishing business plans to achieve
business goals and visions.
• Shape and implement HR strategies and goals in line with business objectives.
• Participate in change management initiatives of the business.
• Develop/ promote employer brand & best practices.
• Develop/ Support career development plans and talent management in the organization.
• Develop & maintain best practice HR policies/procedures relating to personnel policies, recruitment & selection, compensation,
salary administration and employee benefits in line with gate group policies
• Manage and drive HR KPIs in line with business needs and strategies
• Identify & recommend HR systems, tools and reports to increase the effectiveness of HR to support the business.
• Establish and maintain personnel cost budgets based on business plan needs.
HR Expertise & People Management
• Work with line managers on people management matters providing advice and guidance that aligns with local legislation, best
practice and culture
• Maintain in depth knowledge of legal requirements related to HR, reducing legal risk and ensuring regulatory compliance
• Establish and run employee engagement activities
• Devise & implement strategies to attract, develop & retain good & talented people.
HR Payroll
• Manage the HR part of the payroll process working closely with Finance
• Manage the company insurance and benefits schemes including registration, updates and reviews
• Implement a robust e-filing system for employee files in Cambodia.
• Document management; including filing, e-storage, archiving and disposal of confidential material
• Responsible for ensuring employment contracts and offer letters are accurate and prepared on time
• Co-ordinate with external tax consultants, government departments, and auditors, as required
• Ensure HR KPI reports are regularly reported both to local head and regional HQ.
• Recruitment & Onboarding
• Partners with managers on their recruitment needs
• Ensure the (prevalent) recruitment system is used to enable an efficient process
• Develop the recruitment process to ensure we provide a fabulous candidate experience
• Manage the new starter process ensuring each new colleague has a welcoming induction, thorough onboarding plan and regular
reviews with feedback to ensure they are set up for success
• Team Player - fulfil other duties as required.
• Pick up new activities that fall broadly in the purpose of the role
• Role model the behaviours and develop the culture
• Develop & support a high performing HR team
• Bachelor’s degree qualified with HR/ ER discipline and other related file.
• Relevant hands-on full spectrum HR experience (5-8 years)
• Good in English for professional communication and Khmer mother tongue.
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical and negotiating skills
• Track record of designing and developing HR handbook and policies
• Pragmatic, proactive and straightforward approach and focused on adding value
• Hands-on HR skills and high level of integrity
