Strategic Planning and Management:
● Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for the core network (CS, PS, IMS) and firewall
systems to ensure robustness, scalability, and security.
● Lead the planning and execution of network expansion and upgrade projects to support business growth
and new services.
● Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align technology strategies with organizational goals.
Core Network Operations:
● Oversee the day-to-day operations of the core network, ensuring high availability and performance.
● Implement best practices for network monitoring, incident response, and troubleshooting.
● Manage and optimize network traffic, ensuring efficient load balancing and resource utilization.
Data Center Connectivity:
● Manage the connectivity operations of the data center, including core routers, switches, and caching
infrastructure.
● Ensure the data center connectivity infrastructure meets performance, reliability, and security standards.
● Collaborate with the data center operations team to support infrastructure upgrades and expansions.
Firewall Management:
● Oversee the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of firewall systems to protect the network from
internal and external threats.
● Implement and enforce security policies and procedures to safeguard network integrity.
● Monitor firewall performance and conduct regular audits to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
Project Management:
● Lead and manage network-related projects from conception through implementation and
post-implementation review.
● Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
● Develop and maintain project documentation, including plans, schedules, budgets, and status reports.
Team Leadership and Development:
● Provide leadership and direction to the CT Planning and Operations team.
● Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence.
● Mentor and develop team members, promoting professional growth and skill enhancement.
Vendor and Stakeholder Management:
● Manage relationships with network equipment vendors, service providers, and other external
stakeholders.
● Negotiate contracts and service agreements to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
● Coordinate with stakeholders to address and resolve operational issues and challenges.
Budget Management:
● Develop and manage the budget for CT Planning and Operations.
● Monitor expenses and optimize costs while maintaining high service standards.
● Report on financial performance and implement cost-saving initiatives where applicable.
● Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related
field. Master’s degree preferred.
● Minimum of 10 years of experience in telecommunications or network operations, with at least 5 years
in a leadership role.
● Strong knowledge of core network components (CS, PS, IMS), firewall systems, and data center
connectivity.
● Proven experience in strategic planning, project management, and team leadership.
● Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
● Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
● Experience with budget management and financial reporting.
● Certifications in network and security technologies (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CISSP).
● Experience with modern network technologies and trends, such as SDN, NFV, and 5G.
● Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in the telecommunications industry.
