Summary: A human resource supervisor oversee the operations of an entire HR department, plus guide other departments in making the best use of the company’s human resources. An HR supervisor typically manages several aspects of human resources, including recruitment, interviewing, hiring, orienting, and training employees. Oftentimes, HR supervisor answers to a company’s HR Manager, although in some cases, they may answer to a company’s CEO.
Conducting interviews, recruiting, and vetting new staff.
Provide guidance, training, and coaching to new employees and refresher workshops for existing employees.
Identifying and addressing employee requirements regarding performance issues, training, and career growth.
Performing various administrative tasks and accurately processing paperwork.
Counseling staff on HR policies, practices, and procedures.
Co-ordinate and implement an effective on-boarding process for new staff to office policies, goals, and objectives.
Promote a positive company culture.
Support managers and staff with their duties relating to performance appraisals.
Work closely with managers on performance reviews and personal issues.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Human Resources Management
2+ years of HR experience in supervisory or managerial position
Strong leadership skills and the ability to work unsupervised.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong moral and ethical code.
Competency in Microsoft Office, and business management and presentation tools.
Excellent administrative skills.
