Roles and Responsibilities


  • Provide legal counsel on matters pertaining to telecommunications law and regulations 

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and legal standards 

  • Advise on corporate governance and compliance matters

  • Form up, draft and process business contracts/agreements and memos but not limit to edit or advise on legal terms/conditions.  

  • Providing legal advice to ensure the best interest of the company. 

  • Manage and supervise legal disputes, including coordination with external legal counsel. 

  • Advise to minimize negative impacts to the company

  • Conduct legal research to stay updated on changes in telecommunications law and legal landscape 

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to minimize legal risks

  • Provide supports to relevant departments for projects dealing in terms of legal coordination. 

  • Work with lawyer in issuance of bad debt letters to indebted customers.  

  • Closely deal with fraudulent cases by rule enforcement and stakeholders or authority cooperation. 

  • Join to deal or find solution for any inconsistence of business project.  

  • Manage, store all legislative docs. 

  • Other tasked assigned by management.  


Requirements


  • Strong knowledge of corporate law, contract law, and other relevant legal areas 

  • BA of Public Administration, Laws or ELBBL is priority  

  • Proficient in Khmer and English speaking, writing and listening. 

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills. 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)  

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality. 

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people. 

  • High level of attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure. 

  • Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 

  • Criminal law or Civil law 

  • Commercial arbitration counsel

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a legal role 

  • Law firms or Notary 

  • Compliance or Legal counsel
